Day 1 Quito -> Hacienda La Esperanza -> Imbabura Summit

Departure from Quito at 6:00 AM in private transportation heading north to Imbabura province. We arrive at Hacienda La Esperanza, the starting point of our trek. This is a moderate hike — no previous experience is required, but good physical condition is essential. Our objective is to reach the summit of Imbabura (4,640 m) to enjoy the panoramic views of the Andes and acclimatize for higher peaks.
