We depart from Quito via the Panamericana highway to the North. We go through various towns and arrive at Otavalo.
We continue to the base of Fuya Fuya where our ascent starts.
The first part possesses Andean flora and fauna characterized by the “páramo”. Then, as we approximate to the summit we go through a rocky trail. After three hours we get to the summit, contemplate the vistas and then start our descent to the Mojanda lagoon.
Finally, we return to Quito in our transportation.
